I totally agree with you my dear. (And so glad to read you). Violence against women (and children) is vile (est?) per se, but also because it is… how can I say? Condoned? Hidden? “Sournois”? How about the woman in france whose name just escaped me who shot her husband after decades or rape and incest (her daughters)? Well, she’s in jail. Yes it is a silent, and dirty war and should not be. How many women are killed every year in France by their “man”? 140?Which is why I “seconded” the motion. And will keep supporting it. Violence against women is mostly denied in a way of what is called jovial chauvinism. But we aren’t victims, or slaves for machos of all nations. We are equal partners.

Yes there is even worse. A woman can be sentenced to death, or sentenced to whip because she has been raped. They consider this as adultery.
