A heart must be open to the Holy Spirit’s influence, or God’s blessing cannot be received. One cannot pour living water into a cup full of hatred. If God is going to work in our world, we all need to do our part by seeking Him and obeying his commands. We can be saved by the blood of Christ, the Messiah, but we have to ask for salvation with a willing and contrite heart. And then ALL believers must be in daily prayer for our world and those whose hearts are hard and whose faces are turned away from His.

Messiah is maybe
fighting just in front of us
with subtle weapons.
Maybe peace is not his task :
war is not his creation.

I would say God knows your heart and hears you, and I have learned (the hard way) that God expects us to heal and help ourselves, I too often get moments wondering if I’m ignored o not listened to but I suppose it comes down to none of us are perfect and yet we all aim for that as much as possible.
